Finance is an important subject. It is necessary in all things in adult life, and planning for home ownership is one of those. This project helps to illustrated that necessity, and shows that purchasing a home is a many step requirement, with the beginning step being that of the question “how much can you afford?”

For me, this project was helpful, as, already being a homeowner, it helped by giving me new tools to use to figure out my own situation, and whether or not it is good to attempt to pay a loan off sooner than later. I was able to not only calculate this, but was able to also predict whether a mortgage would help me in the long run.
